Abstract: Since the implementation of the "China's Project of Ancient Books' Preservation and Conservation" in 2007, Sichuan Province has built a four-level classified protection system of national key ancient books protection units, Sichuan key ancient books protection units, Sichuan ancient books protection units and Sichuan ancient books protection stations. Taking the application and naming system of various ancient books protection units in Sichuan Province as an example, this paper compares the composition,evaluation mechanism and effect of the classified protection system, combs the situation and achievements in the practice of classified protection of ancient books in Sichuan Province, and puts forward suggestions for further promoting the practice of classified protection of ancient books, so as to provide reference for the follow-up protection of ancient books.
