Abstract: Evidence-based acquisition of digital resources is still an emerging model in the practical application of libraries.This model not only balances the role of readers′ needs and librarians′ professional competence in acquisition decision-making,but also achieves a balance of interests between libraries and data suppliers.This paper analyzes the definition and process of evidence-based acquisition of digital resources and its research status in library practice at home and abroad,discusses the advantages of evidence-based acquisition model,and puts forward suggestions from the aspects of improving the accuracy of budgeting,strengthening the discoverability of digital resources,unifying acquisition standards,making good project evaluation feedback and personnel construction of procurement team,in order to help improve the quality and efficiency of public digital culture construction.
